RETURN & REFUND POLICY

Your Right to Return

MAISON ADAMO respects all mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.

Customers in the European Union have the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days from the date on which they, or a third party designated by them, receive the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, please notify us within this period by email at orders@maisonadamo.eu, providing your order number and stating your decision to return the item.

Following notification, the item must be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days after communicating your decision to withdraw.

Return Conditions

Returned items should be in their original condition, unworn, unused, clean and free from damage or alteration.

Customers may inspect an item to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, as they would in a physical store.

Any handling beyond what is necessary for such inspection may result in a deduction for diminished value, where permitted by applicable law.

Items should be returned with all originally supplied accessories and accompanying materials, where applicable, including dust bags, detachable straps, documentation, packaging and security seals.

Security Seal

MAISON ADAMO items may be supplied with a security seal.

If you intend to return or exchange your item, please keep the security seal attached, intact and unaltered throughout inspection and return.

The condition of the security seal may be considered during our Return Quality Control process, without limiting any mandatory statutory consumer rights.

Return Packaging

Please retain the original packaging until you are certain you wish to keep your purchase.

All returned items must be securely packaged and adequately protected during transportation. Where the original packaging remains suitable for safe reuse, we recommend using it for the return.

Return Shipping Costs

For ordinary change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for the direct cost of returning the item to MAISON ADAMO.

We do not provide complimentary return shipping for ordinary change-of-mind returns.

We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service and retaining proof of shipment until your return has been completed.

Different rules may apply to defective or non-conforming goods under mandatory consumer protection law.

Return Quality Control

Every MAISON ADAMO item undergoes a Final Quality Check before dispatch, and its condition may be documented.

All returned items are subject to Return Quality Control upon receipt.

Our inspection may include the leather, hardware, handles, corners, base, interior, lining, accessories, security seal and overall condition.

Where an item shows signs of use, wear, damage or alteration beyond reasonable inspection, MAISON ADAMO reserves the right to apply the remedies permitted by applicable law, including a deduction for diminished value where appropriate.

Nothing in this policy excludes or restricts statutory consumer rights.

Refunds

Refunds are issued using the original payment method unless another method is expressly agreed and permitted by applicable law.

For a valid exercise of the statutory right of withdrawal, refunds will be made within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notification. Where legally permitted, we may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or you have provided evidence of having sent them back, whichever occurs first.

Refunds include the original standard delivery charge where required by applicable consumer law. Additional charges resulting from choosing a more expensive delivery method are not refundable unless legally required.

Any lawful deduction for diminished value will be assessed in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.

Voluntary Exchanges

Subject to product availability, customers may request a voluntary exchange for another colour, variation or model.

Voluntary exchanges are subject to MAISON ADAMO approval and Return Quality Control.

The original item must be returned at the customer’s expense, in its original unused and undamaged condition, together with the accompanying accessories, packaging, tags and security seals.

Once the exchange is approved, the amount paid for the original item will be applied toward the replacement item.

If the replacement is more expensive, the customer pays the difference. If it is less expensive, the difference will be refunded.

The delivery amount already paid for the original order may be applied toward the outbound shipping of the replacement item. If a more expensive delivery method is selected, the customer pays the additional difference.

Voluntary exchanges are separate from, and do not restrict, statutory withdrawal or warranty rights.

Failed Delivery and Return to Origin

Where delivery cannot be completed due to circumstances attributable to the recipient, including an incorrect address, failure to collect the parcel, refusal of delivery or failure to complete applicable customs requirements, the shipment may be returned to MAISON ADAMO.

Associated shipping costs may be non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Any refund due will be determined in accordance with applicable consumer rights and the circumstances of the return.

Defective or Non-Conforming Products

Natural characteristics of genuine washed leather, including variations in grain, texture, tone and natural markings, are not necessarily manufacturing defects.

If you believe your item has a genuine manufacturing defect or does not conform to your order, please contact orders@maisonadamo.eu.

Such cases will be handled separately from ordinary change-of-mind returns in accordance with applicable statutory consumer protection rights.
